Well Here Goes Nothing (Something?)!

So, this is it: my first official post on the blog--a blog I thought might never see the light of day.

And it wouldn’t have, had I not decided to extend my nearly-expired domain this afternoon (I had bought it about a year ago and proceeded not to use it once). This decision was made after receiving an email from Wix earlier this week notifying me of the site's imminent expiration. For a few days, I had made peace with its termination. I didn't give it much thought. Instead, I compartmentalized it; I placed it in a file entitled, "wasted investments."

But, for whatever reason, today, I've chosen to rescue it--to dust it off, and breathe new life into it (not that it ever had any to begin with as I've heretofore never written a post).

Anyway, I write this post today in the hopes that, if one day, my blog finds some degree of success, I will be able to return to it and see how far I've come.

Here goes nothing!
